Call for Abstract & Poster Proposals for the 7th International Marine Debris Conference
Selected abstracts will be offered a speaking time within the Technical Session to which the abstract is submitted, while successful poster proposals will be offered a space at the conference’s poster event. For more information, please review the Abstracts & Posters page on the 7IMDC website.

How youth-led tech can tackle climate change and build resilience in SIDS
Technology will play an important role in climate adaptation efforts in small island developing states. Engaging youth in the design and deployment of tech solutions is crucial to helping the most affected communities adapt.
"Youth often see technology from a very different perspective than our older generations and can better harness the potential of technological solutions for positive transformation to tackle climate change".
How are communities in SIDS reducing coastal pollution?
Marine litter negatively affects the environment, people and coastal economies around the world. In the Pacific region, the problem is even more severe given the reliance of countries on healthy ocean ecosystems and services.
