Transforming Cities for People and Planet through Integrated Urban Development: Launch of UrbanShift

Join the launch of UrbanShift during Climate Week NYC, on Tuesday, 21 September at 8:00am EDT.

Funded by the GEF, led by UNEP, and implemented in partnership with WRI, C40 Cities, ICLEI, UNDP, the World Bank, and the Asian Development Bank, UrbanShift is a global initiative working to transform cities through sustainable, integrated approaches to urban development. It engages with more than 20 cities across Asia, Africa and Latin America, bringing together local and international stakeholders to build an urban future where both people and planet can thrive. 



At this event, we’ll hear from the leaders of UrbanShift's partner organizations on how integrated development strategies can help shape green, resilient and equitable cities. Confirmed speakers include:
