Stockholm+50 is an international UN meeting that will take place on 2 and 3 June 2022 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the United Nations Conference on the Human Environment. The launch of its Youth Taskforce will take place at COP26 on 10 November, in light of the unwavering youth participation at the conference.  

The event will discuss young people’s expectations in the led up to Stokholm+50, its deliverables, and hopes on the Youth Taskforce. Participants include the Swedish Minister for Environment and Climate, Per Bolund, Ambassador Johanna Lissinger Peitz, and UNEP’s Executive Director and Stockholm+50 Secretary-General, Inger Andersen, together with young people from around the world.
