Climate Bonds Initiative invites you to the Launch of The Agriculture Criteria: How to Identify Eligible Projects and Assets



Augmenting investment into agriculture offers enormous potential to reduce green house gas emissions. The land use sector receives only 2.5% of public mitigation finance yet is responsible for up about 25% of global emissions. Only 0.9% of green bond investment is directed towards land use.



This webinar will discuss the requirements of the Agriculture Criteria, including the recently approved livestock criteria.



The event will also include a case study of the latest certified green bond for agriculture production. This will provide greater information on what issuers should consider when thinking about issuing an agriculture green bond; bringing perspectives from both the issuer and verifier.
