Together with seven leading environmental organisations, WRI released a guide that shows how countries can incorporate ocean-based climate solutions into their NDCs. “Enhancing Nationally Determined Contributions: Opportunities for Ocean-Based Climate Action” focuses on four ocean-based subsectors that have the greatest potential to curb emissions and other benefits: Blue carbon coastal ecosystems, oceanic and coastal fisheries, ocean-based renewable energy, ocean-based transport.
