May I ask young people a question?

Suppose you, the young, are in charge of the world, what would you do to persuade most people to take action against the climate crisis? You can certainly not force others to do the right thing, because it's only sustainable for people to do something when they are willing to do so.
Since young people comprise over 40% of the global population, the total number must be higher than 50%, plus their parents. If the majority of humans are determined to do the right thing, then there won't be any human crisis at all. But if it's hard to persuade your parents to take action, it will be even harder to persuade others to do it.
Young people are pure and innocent. 50 years ago, when those now in power were young, I believe, they were just as passionate about building a better world for everyone as the young are today. The question is why the elderly have failed to dismantle our common grand existential threat. It's not because most adults are so evil as to ruin the human future or their children's future by keeping doing business as usual in the midst of global warming, but because of human nature which is hard to change.
Please think deeper. Mankind is the maker of all the human-caused crises including climate change. It's human nature that dominates everybody's behavior. In other words, we are not dealing with climate change, but dealing with our nature.
Okay, okay, I'm not speaking for any government or global leader. I'm selling my ideas about future evolution and intelligent revolution.
