Human activities are indisputably causing climate change, making heatwaves, heavy rainfalls and droughts more frequent and severe; there's no going back from some changes in the system, however some could be slowed and others could be stopped by limiting warming - these are just two of five key take-aways from the new IPCC report released today.

What's new? The report provides an atlas of regional observed and future impacts, which will allow policy makers and all other stakeholders to better inform climate policies at the regional and local levels.
