I wanted to give world leaders a message about my perspective and my view of the future. With these Polylepis australis (Tabaquillo) trees, the idea is to create thousands of small trees per year in order to continue conserving biodiversity in the basins of our mountains, something that is very important for all of us, which is to be able to continue having this source of work to be able to better conserve our biodiversity. We chose this task mainly because I chose to cooperate with Milking Clouds because a few years ago, when I was a boy, there was much more vegetation and the custom of caring for our environment has been lost. We see it every day: more deforestation, more garbage, and irresponsible visitors who leave their trash in our mountains. We also see in society how soy has been implemented in agriculture, and thousands of hectares are deforested just for that purpose, resulting in the significant loss of our native forests. It also makes the global temperature rise one more degree in our ecosystems, affecting everything, including our forests in sectors where there was this type of Polylepis australis forest. Changes, changes... It is difficult. There are many changes to be made in society and personally, but I think it would be good to be able to contribute economically so that these developments, such as reforestation or sustainable food, can continue to exist. It will be extremely difficult for us to leave a healthy biodiversity for future generations if we do not take action. As a result, we must make the change now and invest in our biodiversity with different projects. I think this project is very important, but there are also other projects such as beekeeping and the reintroduction of camelids, among other tasks that have to be done so that this is sustainable.
