Nature, free from pollution, should be able to thrive and support humanity for millennia to come,” — Inger Andersen, Executive Director of the UN Environment Programme (UNEP) With the adoption of the framework, it is encouraging to see pollution and waste being recognized at the same level as the crises of climate change and nature and biodiversity loss.
