They are seeking to appoint a Senior Postdoctoral Researcher as a senior member of the newly established research team, supporting the Director and Lead Researcher in their intellectual and operational management of the programme. As part of the newly established Future of Development research programme, the successful candidate will be expected to lead a discrete area of research in the wider programme. The Senior Postdoctoral Researcher will be expected to provide guidance and manage particular parts of the programme. This includes playing a significant role in the design of research questions and methodologies and in the writing up of the results for academic and also broader audiences. In addition, the individual in this role is expected to supervise and coordinate the work of other researchers, to be able to represent the programme to internal and external stakeholders, lead and initiate collaborations and partnerships and be able to play an active role in support of Professor Goldin and the Lead Researcher to contribute to the overall success of the programme. They are seeking an exceptional candidate who holds a Ph.D./D.Phil in in Economics, Development Studies, Business, or in one of the areas associated with the global megatrends that will shape development, notably artificial intelligence, climate change, demography or other relevant subject and has specialist knowledge within the field of development.
