Candidates must a PhD in an area related to the IGP’s interests, with a demonstrated capability to initiate and conduct leading-edge research, an established reputation in their field, and a substantial publication list. 

Candidates should have a background in an area related to the Institute’s interests which may include but is not limited to economics, political ecology, sustainability, biodiversity, climate change science, critical science and technology studies, policy, design-thinking, future studies, geography, and anthropology. The Institute is interested in candidates from a broad range of backgrounds and expertise, but are especially looking to appoint a candidate to take on a teaching and research leadership role within the areas covered by our MSc Programme in Global Prosperity and our new MSc Prosperity, People and Planet. 

The post holder should also have experience of designing and teaching postgraduate programmes in an area related to the Institute’s interests.
