The City Climate Finance Gap Fund (or “Gap Fund”) aims to help cities in low- and middle-income countries transition towards low-carbon and climate-resilient pathways in line with the goals of the Paris Agreement.

Cities and local authorities can apply for Gap Fund support by submitting an Expression of Interest. Selected proposals will receive technical assistance from one of the implementing partners, the European Investment Bank (via GIZ) or the World Bank.
