Such “dirty cooking” is a leading source of carbon emissions and kills some four million people each year. The Clean Cooking Alliance and its partners are working to address this global crisis.Clean cooking is an often overlooked part of the green economy, but the pollution from unclean cooking impacts the health of the mostly women doing the cooking plus the planet through additional ghgs. This coalition has been formed to address the issue at a larger scale. At the 2022 Sustainable Energy for All conference, there was a session dedicated to this topic.
